Biography
Born and raised in rural northwestern Ontario, Jada grew up singing in choirs, taking voice and flute lessons, and adding harmony at every opportunity.
Drawing on her B.Sc. in psychology, her musical training, and her experience as a parent, Jada has created more than 100 children’s songs—some designed to teach, others simply to entertain. Her music spans multiple genres, though she often returns to her signature folk-pop-rock style, rich with harmonies and diverse instrumentation. Her goal: to bring high-quality, imaginative music to children in the north and beyond, in both English and French.
Onstage, Jada & Friends bring a lively, interactive performance complete with props, stickers, and the occasional prize. With dance-along moves, call-and-response songs, colourful dresses, and marvelous shoes, Jada creates an engaging, joyful experience for audiences of all ages.
Jada & Friends will release their upcoming album FUN! FUN! FUN!—partially funded by an OAC grant—in May 2026.
Her first French album will be released later in 2026!
